Emmaus University seeks to disciple and mentor students to become holy leaders in the image of Christ through a commitment of excellence to academics– the renewing of the mind, spiritual formation – deepening the spiritual life, and service – developing effective ministry abilities. To this end, EU seeks to recruit and admit quality students of good character who are academically prepared and eager to embrace these three core commitments.

Applications will be considered for acceptance based on enrollment criteria and application documentation. Early application is strongly recommended.

Qualified Applicants

EU seeks high-quality students who show (1) an ability to perform academically, (2) spiritual life, morality and maturity and (3) a call to full-time ministry and theological training.

Highly Qualified Faculty

Emmaus University ‘s faculty, from both Haiti and around the world, have advanced or terminal degrees in their field.

Bachelor’s and Master’s

Emmaus University offers the Bachelor of Divinity and three Masters degree programs.

University Life

Emmaus University has modern dormitory housing and a dining hall along a variety of activities such as chapel, discipleship groups, recreational activities, and student ministry/work teams.

The Application Process

Gather Necessary Documents

To spend up the application process, we encourage you to gather all necessary documents before beginning the application. Most of these can be submitted electronically.

Start Online Application

Use the link below to begin the online application process. We recommend providing an email address in order to receive access information if you need return to complete the application at a later time.

Submit the Application

Once you have completed all the fields on the application and provided all required documents and references, your application is submitted and you are ready to move on the next stage of the admissions process.

Determine Financial Support

Review the fees, tuition, and financial requirements with an admissions counselor. Applicants must provide proof of the ability to pay all program costs. Applicants who meet all admissions requirements but have additional financial need may complete a financial aid application.

Exams and Interviews

Once your application has been submitted, the Admissions Office will schedule a time for you to come take the the entrance exams required for your program followed by an interview with a representative of the program to which you are applying.

Final Decision

The Admissions Committee will review your application and make a final decision whether to admit you as a student at Emmaus University. Upon approval, you pay the required registration fees and prepare to attend class.

Things To Know First

The Standard Application is required for students applying to any or all of EU’s degree programs. You’ll be able to choose the program and degree in which you are interested.

You will need:

  • High school diploma or official transcripts of all previous college or university studies.
  • Certificate of Good Health and background check (residential students)
  • Copy of a valid government issued ID (passport, driver’s license, military ID)
  • Two recent photos
  • Three (3) references
  • $35 non-refundable application fee (varies for Haitian undergraduate students)

Where to submit necessary documents?

All required documents can be submitted electronically within the application form itself or emailed to the admissions representative. In some cases, official records from other schools should be sent electronically to admissions@emmaus.edu.ht. Documents not submitted electronically must be delivered in person to the Admissions Office on the Emmaus University campus.
