Five different language courses are being offered this semester at Emmaus: English One and Three, Academic French, Greek One, and the Fundamentals of Hebrew. We love equipping our students with languages that will make more texts and resources available to support their ministries!
We also strongly believe that biblical language training enables pastors, educators and ministry leaders to engage with biblical texts and critical scholarship with integrity, clarity, wisdom, humility and cultural perspective. In a day when heresy continues to run rampant, a fluency in the biblical languages enables the men and women of Emmaus to preach with freshness and boldness and confidence, and to defend the truth well in all of their preaching and teaching.
